On the 18th and 19th of June, the third CliMAFlux Consortium Meeting took place in Florence, Italy, hosted on the grounds of our academic partner, Università degli Studi di Firenze (UNIFI).

Throughout the two-day event, partners gathered to discuss the current results and explore ideas for advancing the project’s tasks and goals. The meeting fostered active collaboration, comprehensive coordination, and strategic planning, strengthening interdisciplinary connections and reinforcing the team spirit that drives CliMAFlux forward.

The discussions centered on reviewing our progress across all work packages, setting clear priorities, and outlining the next steps for the upcoming period. The productive atmosphere reflected the shared commitment of all partners to the project’s success.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Lorenzo Berzi, Maurizio Guadagno, Massimo Delogu, and Giulia Guarguaglini for their warm hospitality and excellent organization, which greatly contributed to the success of the meeting.

In addition to the working sessions, the hosts thoughtfully organized a cultural program that gave participants the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Florence. While the project’s goals remain central, being in such a historically rich and inspiring location also provided valuable opportunities for cultural and intellectual enrichment. Highlights included visits to the historic city center and Villa la Quiete.
