On the 14th and 15th of January another CliMAFlux consortium meeting was held in Kortrijk in the technology park Evolis of our industrial partner Traxial. Here we discussed the progress and preliminary results from the third and fourth quarter of the project. Plans for the medium- and long-term prospects were outlined and agreed upon. Each of the responsible project partners gave a presentation of their work package or relevant tasks to highlight key outcomes and ideas. Axial flux Integrated Drive Unit and active suspension designs were debated within focused breakout groups, in light of the upcoming manufacturing and testing phase.
Furthermore, a workshop about developing the components with proper consideration of the sustainability framework, was given by dr. Lorenzo Berzi from UNIFI. It is useful to identify relevant key performance indicators and factors that can have a significant impact on both the development and production processes as well as on further stages of exploitation and dissemination.
We warmly thank all partners for participation in and their contribution to this fruitful consortium meeting. Special thanks to the team of Traxial for their kind hospitality!
